Portable bath lifts
A mobile bath lift is available in various model versions. Swivel bath lifts can be purchased as mobile special models. Pillow bath lifts can also be quickly installed and removed. Mobile bath lifts with a swivel function are suitable for the care sector and can be used, for example, for people with disabilities.
Swivelling bath lifts as specialist models
For those who are physically impaired and sit in a wheelchair, for example, a swiveling tub lift is an advantage. The items are available as special models for mobile use or can be permanently mounted on the wall. As mobile variants, the tub lifters stand next to the tub and can have a swivel arm. The swivel arm is connected to a seat. The person requiring care is placed on this seat or securely fixed on this seat. The swivel lift can be operated at the push of a button and starts moving. The seat unit swings over the edge of the tub.
The mobile special models are usually designed as swivel lifts on wheels. There are also variants with a swivel arm that have a support rod that is attached between the ceiling and the floor. Ceiling lifts can also be purchased whose seat units hang from the ceiling (triangle system).
Swivel lifts offer many advantages. The person being cared for can be placed in and out of the tub without much effort using a mobile bath lift with a swivel arm. Such mobile bath lifts are of interest, for example, to those in need of care in wheelchairs. Swivel lifts are also interesting for those affected who want to bathe without outside help. Affected people can wash themselves in the tub when they are on the seat. There are also models available that can be operated by remote control. This means that the products can also be used by those affected and privacy is preserved.
Belt bath lifts — straightforward installation
Belt bath lifts are also available online. Some models use a broad support belt stretched from one side of the bath to the other, with a floor-mounted anchorage. Integrated grab handles provide additional support. Installation and use must follow the instructions for the specific model.
Tuchlifter has a drive and control unit. The drive and control unit lengthens or shortens the belt. So it can be unrolled or retracted. The towel can be operated at the push of a button and is slowly extended for bathing. When those affected have finished the bath, the towel can be shortened again and the bather can get out of the tub. The bath band can simply be rolled up when it is no longer needed.
belt bath lifts are of interest to anyone who does not want an assistant when bathing. The items save space and can be easily assembled. The products are available in transportable and lowerable versions. If you want even more safety, you can buy additional grab handles online.
